In a proactive move towards innovation and educational advancement, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Gauhati University (GU), in collaboration with IPSR is organizing a workshop “Demystifying Outcome Based Education.” This workshop marks GU’s foray into the realm of Outcome Based Education (OBE), a pivotal step towards modernizing educational methodologies.
Gauhati University, fondly known as GU, holds a prestigious status as the oldest university in Northeast India. Established on January 26, 1948, under the legislative provisions of the Assam Legislative Assembly, GU has been a beacon of academic excellence in the region. Situated in Gauhati, Assam, GU has been instrumental in shaping the educational landscape of the region.
Through initial discussions conducted online with the university’s management members, a strategic partnership has been forged to bring about transformative changes through OBE. This workshop will serve asthe initial step towards this innovative endeavor.
Scheduled to take place on February 28, 2024, at 10:00 AM, the venue for this enlightening event is the GUIST Seminar Hall, which will be by Dr.Mendus Jacob, MD & CEO of ipsr solutions limited, India and Valin Technologies, UK US and Professor & Director MCA, Marian College, Kuttikkanam (Autonomous). He is an Academician and Entrepreneur with 35+ years of experience.
