One-Week National-Level Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS)

Jointly organised by the UGC-Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (UGC-MMTTC), and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Gauhati University, Guwahati, Assam 

The UGC-Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (UGC-MMTTC), Gauhati University and the IQAC of Gauhati University, Guwahati, Assam, is jointly organizing a National-level Online Faculty Development Program on Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) in collaboration with ipsr solutions limited. Spread across one week, the FDP sessions will be delivered through live instructor-led sessions and also through hands-on activities and assessments through Learning Management Portal (LMS).

(Those who are unable to attend the live session can watch the recordings of the same through LMS)

Dr. Bharat Dash

Dr. Bharat Dash is a management educator and trainer who uses Panchatantra narratives to teach leadership, self-development, and organizational practices. A Master Trainer with the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) Division, Ministry of Education, he has conducted 350+ seminars and faculty development programmes across various sectors and universities.

Currently, he serves as the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Eastern Knowledge Systems at Sri Sri University, Odisha, and promotes Indian knowledge traditions through his initiative Katha Pratha.

Dr. T. V. Muralivallabhan

Dr. T. V. Muralivallabhan is a distinguished academician with over 40 years of teaching experience in economics, sustainable development, and environmental studies. He holds MA degrees in Economics and Political Science and a PhD in Green Policies and Sustainable Development in Kerala and is the recipient of the St. Berchman’s Award for the Best College Teacher in Kerala (2010).

He currently serves as director of the Marian Institute of Management and director of the economics program at Marian College, Kuttikkanam. A respected scholar and speaker, he has presented 300+ research papers and contributes widely to discussions on sustainable development, eco-spirituality, and environmental education.

Dr Suresh Namboothri

Dr. Suresh is an expert in Artificial Intelligence, Applied Critical Thinking, Indian Knowledge Systems and Prompt Engineering, known for integrating AI with education, research, and design thinking. He has co-developed AI platforms such as Bloom’s OBE Lab, Vigyana, and AI-charya, created over 50 AI prompt engineering techniques, and co-authored five practical AI books.

He previously worked as a Senior Engineer at BPL-Sanyo and later as COO with the TATA Group, contributing to the development of 160+ products across industries. Blending industry experience with academia, he is a pioneer in Outcome-Based Education and Bloom’s Taxonomy in India and developed the world’s first AI-based interview simulator across 38 disciplines.
